What we collect

• Guests: booking details we receive from booking platforms or our hosts, such as stay dates and a guest's name, used to personalize the private welcome pages for a stay; anything a guest chooses to write in a property's guest book; and simple visit counts for those pages.
• Art inquiries: the name, email address and message you send us about an artwork.
• Cleaners: name, email address, mobile number, notification preferences, and the notes and photos added to cleaning jobs.
• Property owners: name and email address.
• Payments: owners' cards or bank accounts and cleaners' payout details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe — Art & Stays never sees or stores full card or bank account numbers. We keep only a short description (for example, "Visa ••4242") and the payment records for each cleaning.
• Sign-in: a cookie that keeps you logged in. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use it

To run our vacation rental stays and art gallery: personalizing guest pages, answering inquiries, scheduling and paying for cleanings, charging property owners for cleanings, and sending the emails and (opt-in) text messages those involve. We don't sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the site, for those purposes:

• Stripe — payments and cleaner payouts
• Twilio — text message notifications
• Resend — email delivery
• Fly.io — website hosting
• Airbnb and Vrbo — booking calendars

We may also disclose information when required by law.

Text messages

Mobile numbers and text messaging opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. They're used only to send the cleaning job notifications a cleaner has chosen to receive. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. See our Text Messaging Terms.

Your choices

Cleaners can change their email and text preferences in their portal profile at any time. Anyone can ask us to see, correct or delete their information by emailing hello@artandstays.com; we keep payment records as long as the law requires.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
